In December of 2011, my Dodge Ram Diesel developed a mystery ailment. I brought it in to West Hills for diagnosis & repair. Jeff Kenyon turned the vehicle over to Steve Morrison who immediately recognized the symptoms and did the repair work. The truck was returned to me only to exhibit the same symptoms a couple days later. I called Jeff who instructed me to bring the truck back. Once again Steve Morrison went to work on it. He rechecked his work and discovered that someone else in some point in time had botched a similar repair. Steve corrected the problem and after driving the truck to Yuma, AZ and putting nearly two thousand miles on it, it is running better than it ever has since I purchased it. Thanks to Steve's diligence and unwillingness to give up, I have a dependable truck I can count on. My thanks also to Jeff Kenyon who kept me apprised of what was going on and also kept encouraging me that Steve was going to get it right. Thanks West Hills Dodge for having such dedicated and proficient people on your staff.

Took my wife's 2004 Jeep Liberty in for another oil change. As always, very satisfied with the service at West Hills. We've been having the service work done there for over three years now and see no reason to change. In fact, we've now moved to Westport, WA and it's a little over 200 miles round trip to have her Jeep serviced at West Hills, but it's our plan to continue doing just that. He made an observation on my truck and went the extra mile to get it taken care of. Dan even checked with the Warranty office to see if they would cover the cost, which they did; he notified me and explained everything to me. Sure, it may have cost us an extra $200 but it was well worth the extra money considering how much more it would have cost us had he not gone the extra mile and got it taken care of. I purchased a 2011 Ram 1500 on 08Oct11. Shay Wilson was my saleman, Tom Kim was finance and Bret was our manager. I hate buying vehicles because it is stressful to me. There was no pressure and stress during my experience. Shay searched hard and found the right truck for the right price. I was going to buy used but he hooked me up with a new vehicle. I spent a lot of time there and he bought my son lunch while we were working the deal. I appreciate the flexability of the management team with pricing and trade-in value. If the deal wasn't right, I was prepared to walk but they were very nice while working with me and not being pushy or rude, so I stayed and finished the deal. I am very happy with my experience and price. I will recommend the West Hills Chrysler Jeep and Dodge dealership to people I know.

We were just thrilled to be able to drive the Jeep out on the beach--a first for me--at Grayland [see attached] and watch the sunset over the Pacific ocean. It doesn’t get much better than this!!!

I bought a '00 Toyota Tundra in July '09. My salesperson was Tyson Stanley. The truck has taken me from Bremerton to Pensacola and back to Oak Harbor with no trouble. The only things I have had to replace on the truck in two years are brake rotors and rear brake shoes. I had the transmission serviced in 2010 and the technician said it looks great. Truck has given me no trouble at all. I would return to this dealership for a second purchase, given the chance.

Not only did Chico personally help me with getting set up with a new rear fascia for my new Challenger, he also gave me a lot of helpful advice on a new dual exhaust system. To those looking for someone to trust...
My husband and I worked with Melvin Blanton of West Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge (part of the Haselwood Auto Group). I would recommend him to any member of my family. Which is saying a lot, and here's why I would...
I got a cold call from Mel, because I've been a regular customer of the West Hills service department for years. Mel wanted me to know he would be my personal contact for anything I needed with the dealership. He would facilitate any service needs I had to make sure things were being personally looked after. He then asked me if I was still happy with my current vehicle and if I had any needs in that area. In fact I had been long considering buying a 4x4 truck and replacing my car, since I had just purchased a house. I found that having a car just wasn't useful for me at this point. Mel let me know about various sale opportunities at the dealership and I went ahead and made arrangements to come down with my husband to take a look at what they had available.
As soon as we got there we were asked to have a seat and a conversation with Mel, to help him identify what was most important to us in a truck. How we'd use it and what kinds of features we were interested in. All the while, taking notes and making astute observations. We talked numbers about what we were willing to pay, and what they would be willing to give us for the car we had. It was probably a good 30 mins of getting to know us before we even stepped out the door to look at anything. But what a radical difference that time made... we only looked at things which we had specified as being crucial to our truck choice. Recent model 4x4, min 6ft bed, extended cab, air con, cruise, automatic transmission. It didn't take long to decide on what we wanted... and we went home that night with a 2008 Chevy Silverado LT 4x4 extended cab with more bells and whistles than I asked for, in a price point I was very happy with.
(Here's where the story could have gone very wrong.... but it didn't. It's important to know that there is a mission type statement that hangs on the wall next to a portrait of Mr. Haselwood... it's called "Guiding Principals". It is a call to each employee to listen intently, stand by their word, keep in mind the bottom line of the company, but do what's right - even when no one is looking. The first part of this story is the workings of the "Guiding Principals" even everything is easy... the second part of this story are those same principals being applied where the rubber meets the road.)
So we drive the truck home, and I'm gushing about how happy I am - and how much I love the truck. It's about 10:30pm by the time we get home... and when we pull into the drive, the hubby asks.... "So how do we put it into 4wd??" This leads to about 20 mins of flipping through manuals and surfing the web on our android phones for photos of what the dash should look like, only to realize that in fact - we did not have a 4x4.
So back to the dealership we go in the morning, as we needed to drop off a check anyway, and we let Mel know we didn't have a 4x4. All of the paperwork said it was a 4x4, but clearly it was not. This led to something of an odyssey in trying to find a truck that might suit our needs, and still make the price point we had agreed on. Not to mention there were certain features in the new truck we found deeply appealing, so those had been added to the mix of wants. We covered every lot on the Hill, but unfortunately we were not able to find a similar truck to the one we had purchased.
I told Mel there was a truck at another dealership in Tacoma I wanted to have a look at as it was very similar to the truck we had purchased. Mel asked us to give him a chance to see what he could do for us and we decided to wait and give him that time. Mel came back and told us they would go to Tacoma and purchase the truck with no strings attached, let us take it for a test drive to see if it was what we wanted. Mel and another employee went and picked up the truck and ultimately we decided we wanted the truck.
West Hills made good on the deal we had struck the night before by giving us the truck for virtually the same price (only a $500 increase - which was negated by a lower interest rate they were able to secure us with the lender).
You can put a price on a vehicle... you can't put a price on loyalty and trust. I would trust Mel - and West Hills to do the right thing even when it's not the easy thing... the Guiding Principals held true.
If you want to be looked after and treated right, call Mel, and buy from West Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge.

Dan Faulkner in service solved a concern I have had since buying my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Tyson was my point of contact in sales and when it was brought to his attention he took the appropriate action alongside Dan. The minute Dan looked at it, he noticed the molding was missing. Wow, what a revelation! He knew right away what the problem was and he ordered it at no cost to me, and I'll install the missing molding.
Thanks guys, I'm happy that Dan and Tyson identified and found a solution. Dan also signed me up for the Service Rewards Program that no one else bothered to mention to me.

This whole situation could have been avoided had Yakima Dodge done the job right the first time. As service manager, I hope there is some way you can report this to corporate so others may not experience what I did in dealing with Yakima Dodge and there short cuts. I have had two previous experiences at the West Hills Auto Plex and neither were very memorable. This purchase through Freddy Goret was the epitome of what a car buying experience should be. No B.S., just a good experience. He made sure that the job was done right all the way to the end. Mel and Amelia went above and beyond to get the Truck and Price that I wanted. And even though the deal is done, they still continue to go out of their way to make sure that my husband and I are completely happy with our purchase. I really appreciate all of the hard work they put into my deal. I was by no means an easy sell. There was a lot of back and forth counter offers, this went on for days, with in person, text, and email correspondence. They were always prompt in getting back to me, with answers to all of my questions. I never had the feeling or impression that they were tired of dealing with me, or that they felt I was asking for too much. They were always polite, courteous and friendly. I also didn't feeling that they were your typical car sales people, fake and dishonest. They seemed personable and sincere with me, and I have always been an extremely good judge of character. Even if they thought I was getting a terrific deal, they were still willing to go back with my requests on numerous occasions to get me more for my money. And even though the deal is done, they continued to fix any issues that I had to make me happy..(i.e. Truck was supposed to have remote start, didn't...Called and complained, they are installing it for me) In short, I would highly recommend both of them to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. In fact we'll be purchasing another vehicle in the next few months, and I bet you can guess who I'm going to. Also, I did a lot of shopping around, and No Dealer could touch the price that I got my Truck for. They were 3,500.00 more for the same exact Truck. So do yourself a favor, by all means shop around, but definitely give West Hills a chance, I bet they'll beat the competition.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I had a condition with the transmission of my Dodge truck which was not resolved when I took it to Tacoma Dodge. In fact they told me there was nothing wrong. When I contacted Chrysler Customer Assistance, I was referred to West Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Bremerton.
I took in my truck along with a letter outlining my problem and met their Assistant Service Manager, Dan Faulkner who introduced their transmission man. He understood my problem right away and knew how to fix it. Parts were ordered and the repair made. When they were done, my Dodge was shifting, and indicating the shift properly.
I was very satisfied.
A group of Dodge truck owners here in Gig Harbor meet for coffee and I will be sure to tell them Chrysler and the West Hills people really treated me well.

I hit 323,000 miles on my Dodge Cummins 2500. I have had this truck in Wyoming for most of its life and have hit 5 deer, 1 moose and a cow. I am still getting over 20 mpg. At approximately 200,000 miles I went all synthetic oil. What a truck!!!!!!

In February because of damage to my engine heads I went with an engine replacement. This is a traumatic enough experience but as it turned out there were a couple of minor problems that required some tweaking. One problem continued to exist and that required contact with the provider of the engine as well as coordinating with the Service Department at WHCJD. To say it was a frustrating and helpless feeling is an understatement. I was losing confidence and feeling upset.
Through it all your Service Staff, Annie Meyer, and most especially Paul Long worked with me and helped me get through this. Friday 6/4 I walked out of the Service Dept after a day of working again with Paul Long and I was finally comfortable and happy with time, work and customer service.

Buying a Car, Without Pressure! My boyfriend and I went car shopping a couple of weeks ago, and what a fiasco we were about to encounter!! We went to a half a dozen car lots, and were so high pressured to buy something I wasn't even interested in buying, UNTIL...we stopped at Chrysler, Jeep Dodge.
A young lady named Amelia Reisman came out and asked what I was interested in buying. I told her I really liked Honda's, but would like to look at & try a Hybrid. I also told her I liked blue or silver, wanted leather, and she said, "I have a couple of cars you might be interested in buying." With that, she brought out a Toyota Prius, and a Honda Civic, both with everything I wanted. After driving both of them, she also showed us other cars that I was interested in buying. NEVER did she High Pressure me to buy anything!! I ended up, buying the Toyota Prius. A young man named Dallas asked me if I knew how to get the best mileage out of it, as well as how things worked, (it also has navigation), so we went for a ride so he could show me.
If any of you are looking to buy a car, I'd suggest going to Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge in Bremerton first, and save yourself the anguish of dealing with the vultures we found at some of the other dealerships in Bremerton.

I recently bought the Dodge Ram 1500, and I am very happy with the truck. In addition to being a great truck it has all the nice features that I would expect in a luxury car. Built in DVD player, remote starting (great on cold days), integrated blue tooth technology to talk hands free through the speakers. Sunroof and a button to open the sliding back window from the driver seat. Other features include movable foot peddles, (good for shorter people). And how about this one, reprogramming the settings of the truck from the steering wheel. For example, I do not like the horn to honk when I lock the doors remotely. I can change that setting while following a simple menu system the will let me change that and all kinds of other settings.
There is a 30 gig hard drive for music, pictures, movies, and what ever else you want to put there. You can download music and files onto the hard drive through a USB port (really cool). For you iPod fans there is an adapter so you can play your music as well.
The sales people are friendly, helpful, not pushy, and courteous. I know Deb, Dallas, and Brian from finance quite well and consider them to be my friends.
The service department recently merged with another dodge dealership, and for about a week there were trying to adjust to all the new customers, but they have seemed to have gotten everything together, and it seems to be flowing really smooth now. I think the service that I have received from my older vehicles has been very good, and I am COMPLETELY confident to bring all my maintenance to them.
