We found a car we were interested in online at this dealer. We made a phone call to ask about it and spoke with John Kielbasa. He was polite, professional, informative and receptive to us asking him to send us photos of the car via email since we live 400 miles away in Oregon. After viewing these photos, we called John back and told him we would like to secure the car so we could have time to travel and buy it. We described our trade in to Bret Underwood over the phone and we agreed on a price for the trade. Both John and Bret made our purchase easy and fun. John was very informative and thorough, treated us very well. Kevin handled our financial paperwork with professional confidence and made us feel comfortable by providing clear understandable choices of the financial transaction. It was obvious they all enjoy their jobs and we enjoyed our trip home in our new Dodge Charger. Your dealership is comfortable, and beautiful and offers nice things like a room to use wi-fi, a store, and free water and coffee. These are extras you just don't find at all dealerships. If we need another vehicle in the future, we would not look anywhere else but West Hills CJD. Thank you again.

I wanted to compliment two employees of West Hills Chrysler. One of them is David Crawford. David made sure my folding third row seats on my 2010 Chrysler Town and Country were finally repaired after bringing my vehicle in to your business numerous time. (The first time was in May 2010 when the vehicle was only four months old). He arranged for me to have a rental car at no charge while the repairs were being done. He called me and kept me informed of the progress of the repairs during this time. The other employee is Paul Long. He arranged for me to have the power rear hatch on my van repaired for only $100.00 after the warranty had expired by two months. He ordered a part and kept me informed on the progress - the repair was done quickly. By paying only $100.00, this saved me considerable money. I recently purchased a 2013 Jeep Compass from West Hill Chrysler Jeep. When I purchased the Jeep, I ordered a backup camera which was installed by replacing my rear view mirror. This made me lose three features....my phone accessible by touch screen, auto dimming rearview mirror, and automatic temperature control. Also, my car has a DVD player which cannot be viewed while driving (it's located in the front). I was not informed it would not operate while underway (I do, however, understand why). My expectations were for my grandchildren to be able to watch a DVD when I haul them around. Because of the above issues, I was not a happy person.
Mr. Howard Foster took my issues to heart and took great care of me. He had my original rear view mirror reinstalled, thus giving me back options I wanted. My back up camera is now viewed through the touch screen (which is GREAT!). Also, he installed rear seat DVD players (my grandkids are ecstatic) and I am so very happy. These options were important to me. Mr. Foster made things right for me. I now have the car and options I want and am extremely happy!
I have spread the word about how great West Hills Chrysler Jeep is and how wonderful it is to be listened to and how my issues were resolved. Mr. Foster was a true professional, he kept his composure when I lost mine. He told me he would take care of me and he did exactly that! It is people like him that make a great dealership. I can't say enough good things about him and how he resolved my issues. He truly knows how to put the 'customer' in customer service.

We purchased a new Chrysler Town and Country on Tuesday from Tyson Stanley. We had no idea that we would be buying a new car on Tuesday!! We had not shopped for a car or checked the internet or looked at other lots. We came in to sell our Chrysler 300 which we loved, but my husband is no longer driving so we do not need 2 cars. Our other car is a 2000 Toyota Sienna. Tyson was wonderful to work with. He gave us a price for our car and we could have taken the money and left, but just for fun we decided to look at a couple of vans that would be newer than mine. There was absolutely no pressure which I really appreciated. After driving 2 different vans, and Tyson listening to us, he said "I am going to bring you another car to test and I am going to surprise you and not tell you what it is". He brought over the beautiful Champaign colored Town and Country and we were smitten!! We love the car and are happy with the deal. Tyson was very helpful in showing us all the gadgets and how they work. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Tyson Stanley.

Just bought a Jeep yesterday from salesman Mel and had an excellent experience. I am definitely NOT the easiest customer. I visited him at the Jeep dealership three times, visited another, spoke with three others on the phone, researched vehicles and prices online, and had my laptop at the dealership to help me negotiate a fair price using a car buyers' website. Also took care of my own financing/payment. Through all of this, Mel was patient, respectful of the way I wanted to approach the research and purchase of a vehicle and excellent in making sure he understood what I was looking for in a vehicle. He even suggested a vehicle I hadn't considered, and it ended up being #2 on my list. He also lined up my top three vehicles in a row in the parking lot (this meant getting one from another West Hills dealership) so I could compare all three side-by-side. This was extremely helpful to me. I was happy to use some service reward points earned over the years at the Honda dealership and took advantage of a special free service plan offered during the holidays and get a manufacturer rebate on top of the fair price negotiated. Then, the finance rep, Ron, spared me to rigamarole of talking about all the add-ons they usually try to sell, and we ended up buring only one. I highly recommend Mel if you are looking for a kind, respectful, non-pressuring, and helpful salesperson.

I bought an '01 Dakota for my son a couple weeks ago. You may remember the hard cover on the bed needed to a clear coat repair and the A/C compressor was making noise.
Just wanted to say thanks for going the extra mile on the hard cover. The plan was to have your touch up service handle it, but you went ahead and completely refinished it instead. It looks terrific!

I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee to West Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram for a routine oil and filter change. Anthony Parker, my service writer, conducted an inspection of my vehicle prior to service write-up. He asked me to accompany him. He popped the hood. In the ten years I've been coming here for vehicle service, that never happened before. He tested the brake fluid resevoir. The test instrument indicated red. NOT good. He showed me that the brake fluid was "thin and watery". He highly recommended a brake fluid flush. I asked if I could get it done while I was already there so as to avoid another appointment and inconvenience. West Hills stepped up and said YES. If this more comprehensive pre-inspection prior to service write-up is a relatively new service philosophy, I applaud it. It's great. I was impressed. That's why I have partnered for more than ten years with the West Hills Jeep professionals to help me maintain my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I purchased my Jeep in February 2002 from you when you were Premier Chrysler Jeep. It's never occured to me to take my Jeep anywhere else. With sincere thanks.

I purchased my Wrangler Sahara less than 2 years ago. There's a thing going on with Wrangler drivers in No Kitsap and perhaps elsewhere that's fun. I explained to Paul Long that another shop had charged me for repairs they did not complete or had made worse. The shop claimed they were ASE certified and the mechanic working on my truck only to find out he wasn't. Paul introduced me to Glenn and he had my A/C repaired but the other shop had messed something else up that didn't show up initially. It is with sincere gratitude that I write this letter. Last year my extended family had a meeting to discuss the welfare and monetary needs of my mother in law. She has spent her life caring for the needs of others. It was agreed upon that she needed a new vehicle simply because the cost of her gifted vehicle had become too exorbent with the cost of premium gas. I am VERY pleased with the EXTRA efforts provided by David Crawford! My 2005 Ram Diesel has 172,000+ miles, and was in dire need of U-joints and brakes. I’d like to take this opportunity to comment on my recent purchase of a new 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited from your dealership. There were a few unusual circumstances that were relevant to how everything played out so this may get a bit long-winded; please bear with me.
I’d been considering buying a Grand Cherokee for some time when I decided to do an online inventory search for one that was equipped to my liking. As it turned out, my online inventory search showed that your dealership had a GC configured exactly to my liking. I then requested a price online, just to get an idea of what kind of pricing I could expect. (This was after business hours on a weeknight.) To my surprise, I got a response via email that same night from Amelia Reisman. Not only was the reply quick, the price was considerably lower than what I was expecting ($500 below invoice). At that point I didn’t yet consider myself as being ready to buy but I was definitely intrigued.
The next morning I got a follow-up phone call from Amelia. We had a pleasant conversation and I was very impressed with her friendly and professional demeanor. After talking with Amelia, I decided that I’d make the 150 mile drive to Bremerton to see the vehicle. At that point things began to fall apart. Amelia wisely decided to confirm that the car was in fact in stock before my wife and I drove up there (from La Center, just north of Vancouver) to see it. To our mutual dismay, she learned that it had been traded to another dealership and sold to a retail customer. We knew, though, that another similar car was in stock in Kirkland so Amelia began the process of trying to acquire it. We were back in the game.
Amelia was able to arrange a dealer trade for the GC that I wanted and she quickly offered the same deal - $500 under invoice. She then told me how to get my trade-in appraised via email by your used car department and that went without a hitch. Things were shaping up. We ended up making the drive to see the car. Oddly enough, we got up there before the dealer trade was actually executed so we saw it at the other dealership (where we had an absolutely horrible experience). We liked what we saw and essentially followed it back to your dealership as the trade was executed. We then met Amelia in person for the first time and took the car for a drive. We told Amelia that we’d need to sleep on it and then made our 150 mile drive home.
The next evening I phoned Amelia and told her that we’d buy the car; we decided to pick it up the following weekend. This allowed me to get the financing squared away and it allowed Amelia to arrange for a wheel/tire swap. (The car was built with the standard 18” wheels but we arranged to swap them for the optional 20-inchers from another in-stock GC.)
We drove up the next weekend and took delivery of our new Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD and couldn’t be happier. The part that I want to make sure you know about is the OUTSTANDING job that Amelia did. I’m the first to admit that I’m not the easiest car buyer to deal with. I’m so used to the typical abuse that many dealerships subject their clientele to that I’ve come to despise the process. To my surprise, EVERYTHING about this purchase completely defied convention. I got a great price without a bit of haggling. I got a great trade-in value without haggling. Amelia worked hard to get me everything I wanted (including the wheel swap, elimination of DOC fees, and arranging for the dealer trade) even though I hadn’t signed a single document or handed over any money. She did it all on faith. To say that I appreciated Amelia’s style would be a huge understatement. The thing that I appreciated the most about Amelia was that she never tried to push me into closing the deal; she let the eventual agreement to buy be 100% my idea. I know that such a tactic isn’t always the right one but in this case it was and I credit Amelia for recognizing and accepting that fact.
In short, I’m VERY pleased with everything that Amelia Reisman did while we worked together on this deal and she should be commended. I’m also very pleased that you give her the latitude to conduct herself in a manner that caters to customers who don’t like to haggle over price (while still getting a great deal) and to go the extra mile to ensure a great experience. Finally, I appreciate that Amelia and the dealership were willing to accommodate us strictly on faith and without a written contract in place first. You run a first-rate store and I can assure you that I’m telling a lot of people about it.

In the past, buying a car was always an all day chore with lots of pressure involved. My experience at West Hills was nothing like that. I felt that Frank Jeffers did an outstanding job. He listened to what we wanted and got us exactly that, even after the original van we looked at was already spoken for. He kept in contact with us but not in a pressure sort of manner. He also allowed me to talk with everyone I needed to in order to see how I was set financially. In December of 2011, my Dodge Ram Diesel developed a mystery ailment. I brought it in to West Hills for diagnosis & repair. Jeff Kenyon turned the vehicle over to Steve Morrison who immediately recognized the symptoms and did the repair work. The truck was returned to me only to exhibit the same symptoms a couple days later. I called Jeff who instructed me to bring the truck back. Once again Steve Morrison went to work on it. He rechecked his work and discovered that someone else in some point in time had botched a similar repair. Steve corrected the problem and after driving the truck to Yuma, AZ and putting nearly two thousand miles on it, it is running better than it ever has since I purchased it. Thanks to Steve's diligence and unwillingness to give up, I have a dependable truck I can count on. My thanks also to Jeff Kenyon who kept me apprised of what was going on and also kept encouraging me that Steve was going to get it right. Thanks West Hills Dodge for having such dedicated and proficient people on your staff.

3,000 thank yous to Dan Faulkner for noticing a leak and saving us $3,000+!!! He has no idea how much it meant to my husband and I for what he did. He made an observation on my truck and went the extra mile to get it taken care of. Dan even checked with the Warranty office to see if they would cover the cost, which they did; he notified me and explained everything to me. Sure, it may have cost us an extra $200 but it was well worth the extra money considering how much more it would have cost us had he not gone the extra mile and got it taken care of. So Dan, thanks again 3,000 times (giggle-giggle:)) for doing a job WELL DONE!

I purchased a 2011 Ram 1500 on 08Oct11. Shay Wilson was my saleman, Tom Kim was finance and Bret was our manager. I hate buying vehicles because it is stressful to me. There was no pressure and stress during my experience. Shay searched hard and found the right truck for the right price. I was going to buy used but he hooked me up with a new vehicle. I spent a lot of time there and he bought my son lunch while we were working the deal. I appreciate the flexability of the management team with pricing and trade-in value. If the deal wasn't right, I was prepared to walk but they were very nice while working with me and not being pushy or rude, so I stayed and finished the deal. I am very happy with my experience and price. I will recommend the West Hills Chrysler Jeep and Dodge dealership to people I know.

I encouraged my parents to buy a Chrysler Cirrus from your organization in 1995 and, upon their deaths three years ago, I inherited the vehicle. Since they had only put less than 40,000 miles on it, I decided to make it my car rather than buy a new one (thinking it still has some good years in it).

He delivered on what he promised and did not over-promise in order to get my business. We were just thrilled to be able to drive the Jeep out on the beach--a first for me--at Grayland [see attached] and watch the sunset over the Pacific ocean. It doesn’t get much better than this!!!

I bought a '00 Toyota Tundra in July '09. My salesperson was Tyson Stanley. The truck has taken me from Bremerton to Pensacola and back to Oak Harbor with no trouble. The only things I have had to replace on the truck in two years are brake rotors and rear brake shoes. I had the transmission serviced in 2010 and the technician said it looks great. Truck has given me no trouble at all. I would return to this dealership for a second purchase, given the chance.

I recently purchased a truck from West Hills and had Frank Jeffers as my sales guy. He rocked! It was a hasle free environment and Frank did not push anything on me that I did not want. He helped me price a truck and then when I realized I wanted a different one which was more pricey he worked with me to make sure the price was where I wanted it. Paul Long was courteous and efficient when checking my jeep in for service. He also was kind enough to keep me updated by phone as to cost and needs discovered during vehicle inspection. He arranged for windshield replacement at a different location while the jeep was there so I didn't have to make an extra trip. Overall, the waiting room, courteous staff and friendliness made the experience pleasant. i think the charges were reasonable, and my jeep was ready on time. it was washed and clean, ready to go. We were so happy with our purchases at West Hills. Freddy Goret was an amazing help, very knowledgeable about the vehicles he showed us. He took some time getting to know what we were looking for, then gave us a large selection of vehicles to choose from that met our criteria. He was very personable also, making us all feel like we had known each other forever. David was also very helpful with the selection on my daughters car, and while I wasn't on site when they were selecting one, my husband and daughter both had great words to say about him as well. The financing department guys, Bryan & Ron, were both informative and personable also and explained any question we had for either vehicle. Yep, we purchased 2 from West Hills, and when it is time to upgrade our rides, we will definitely be going back to West Hills. I can't say enough about them, they are fabulous!

Our Liberty just needed it's 60,00 mile service but, surprise, it needed a little more! Dan was really great at explaining what problems were found. It didn't need an alignment but, a brake job (complete) that was suppose to have been done when we purchased it at another dealership with 48,000 miles on it. My husband and I worked with Melvin Blanton of West Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge (part of the Haselwood Auto Group). I would recommend him to any member of my family. Which is saying a lot, and here's why I would...
I got a cold call from Mel, because I've been a regular customer of the West Hills service department for years. Mel wanted me to know he would be my personal contact for anything I needed with the dealership. He would facilitate any service needs I had to make sure things were being personally looked after. He then asked me if I was still happy with my current vehicle and if I had any needs in that area. In fact I had been long considering buying a 4x4 truck and replacing my car, since I had just purchased a house. I found that having a car just wasn't useful for me at this point. Mel let me know about various sale opportunities at the dealership and I went ahead and made arrangements to come down with my husband to take a look at what they had available.
As soon as we got there we were asked to have a seat and a conversation with Mel, to help him identify what was most important to us in a truck. How we'd use it and what kinds of features we were interested in. All the while, taking notes and making astute observations. We talked numbers about what we were willing to pay, and what they would be willing to give us for the car we had. It was probably a good 30 mins of getting to know us before we even stepped out the door to look at anything. But what a radical difference that time made... we only looked at things which we had specified as being crucial to our truck choice. Recent model 4x4, min 6ft bed, extended cab, air con, cruise, automatic transmission. It didn't take long to decide on what we wanted... and we went home that night with a 2008 Chevy Silverado LT 4x4 extended cab with more bells and whistles than I asked for, in a price point I was very happy with.
(Here's where the story could have gone very wrong.... but it didn't. It's important to know that there is a mission type statement that hangs on the wall next to a portrait of Mr. Haselwood... it's called "Guiding Principals". It is a call to each employee to listen intently, stand by their word, keep in mind the bottom line of the company, but do what's right - even when no one is looking. The first part of this story is the workings of the "Guiding Principals" even everything is easy... the second part of this story are those same principals being applied where the rubber meets the road.)
So we drive the truck home, and I'm gushing about how happy I am - and how much I love the truck. It's about 10:30pm by the time we get home... and when we pull into the drive, the hubby asks.... "So how do we put it into 4wd??" This leads to about 20 mins of flipping through manuals and surfing the web on our android phones for photos of what the dash should look like, only to realize that in fact - we did not have a 4x4.
So back to the dealership we go in the morning, as we needed to drop off a check anyway, and we let Mel know we didn't have a 4x4. All of the paperwork said it was a 4x4, but clearly it was not. This led to something of an odyssey in trying to find a truck that might suit our needs, and still make the price point we had agreed on. Not to mention there were certain features in the new truck we found deeply appealing, so those had been added to the mix of wants. We covered every lot on the Hill, but unfortunately we were not able to find a similar truck to the one we had purchased.
I told Mel there was a truck at another dealership in Tacoma I wanted to have a look at as it was very similar to the truck we had purchased. Mel asked us to give him a chance to see what he could do for us and we decided to wait and give him that time. Mel came back and told us they would go to Tacoma and purchase the truck with no strings attached, let us take it for a test drive to see if it was what we wanted. Mel and another employee went and picked up the truck and ultimately we decided we wanted the truck.
West Hills made good on the deal we had struck the night before by giving us the truck for virtually the same price (only a $500 increase - which was negated by a lower interest rate they were able to secure us with the lender).
You can put a price on a vehicle... you can't put a price on loyalty and trust. I would trust Mel - and West Hills to do the right thing even when it's not the easy thing... the Guiding Principals held true.
If you want to be looked after and treated right, call Mel, and buy from West Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge.

Dan Faulkner in service solved a concern I have had since buying my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Tyson was my point of contact in sales and when it was brought to his attention he took the appropriate action alongside Dan. The minute Dan looked at it, he noticed the molding was missing. Wow, what a revelation! He knew right away what the problem was and he ordered it at no cost to me, and I'll install the missing molding.
Thanks guys, I'm happy that Dan and Tyson identified and found a solution. Dan also signed me up for the Service Rewards Program that no one else bothered to mention to me.

Mel and Amelia went above and beyond to get the Truck and Price that I wanted. And even though the deal is done, they still continue to go out of their way to make sure that my husband and I are completely happy with our purchase. I really appreciate all of the hard work they put into my deal. I was by no means an easy sell. There was a lot of back and forth counter offers, this went on for days, with in person, text, and email correspondence. They were always prompt in getting back to me, with answers to all of my questions. I never had the feeling or impression that they were tired of dealing with me, or that they felt I was asking for too much. They were always polite, courteous and friendly. I also didn't feeling that they were your typical car sales people, fake and dishonest. They seemed personable and sincere with me, and I have always been an extremely good judge of character. Even if they thought I was getting a terrific deal, they were still willing to go back with my requests on numerous occasions to get me more for my money. And even though the deal is done, they continued to fix any issues that I had to make me happy..(i.e. Truck was supposed to have remote start, didn't...Called and complained, they are installing it for me) In short, I would highly recommend both of them to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. In fact we'll be purchasing another vehicle in the next few months, and I bet you can guess who I'm going to. Also, I did a lot of shopping around, and No Dealer could touch the price that I got my Truck for. They were 3,500.00 more for the same exact Truck. So do yourself a favor, by all means shop around, but definitely give West Hills a chance, I bet they'll beat the competition.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I had a condition with the transmission of my Dodge truck which was not resolved when I took it to Tacoma Dodge. In fact they told me there was nothing wrong. When I contacted Chrysler Customer Assistance, I was referred to West Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Bremerton.
I took in my truck along with a letter outlining my problem and met their Assistant Service Manager, Dan Faulkner who introduced their transmission man. He understood my problem right away and knew how to fix it. Parts were ordered and the repair made. When they were done, my Dodge was shifting, and indicating the shift properly.
I was very satisfied.
A group of Dodge truck owners here in Gig Harbor meet for coffee and I will be sure to tell them Chrysler and the West Hills people really treated me well.

I hit 323,000 miles on my Dodge Cummins 2500. I have had this truck in Wyoming for most of its life and have hit 5 deer, 1 moose and a cow. I am still getting over 20 mpg. At approximately 200,000 miles I went all synthetic oil. What a truck!!!!!!

In February because of damage to my engine heads I went with an engine replacement. This is a traumatic enough experience but as it turned out there were a couple of minor problems that required some tweaking. One problem continued to exist and that required contact with the provider of the engine as well as coordinating with the Service Department at WHCJD. To say it was a frustrating and helpless feeling is an understatement. I was losing confidence and feeling upset.
Through it all your Service Staff, Annie Meyer, and most especially Paul Long worked with me and helped me get through this. Friday 6/4 I walked out of the Service Dept after a day of working again with Paul Long and I was finally comfortable and happy with time, work and customer service.
Thank You West Hills and Paul Long. I will return for my service work.

I wanted to write a note to commend Mr. David Crawford for his personable nature and his friendly and very helpful service that he provided to me when I brought in my 99 Jeep Grand. He worked with me to ensure that all my concerns were addressed and he even went the extra mile and got on the phone with my husband. My husband is not a fan of my Jeep, he never has liked the model, however I have owned four of them and I love them. David ensured him that all of his concerns would be looked into and that the car would have a clean bill of health when I got it back. The car is running like new and I have the peace of mind that I wanted from the 100K service.

I was originally concerned that it would be a hassle and that dealing with the warranty would be a problem, but that could not have been further from the truth. Buying a Car, Without Pressure! My boyfriend and I went car shopping a couple of weeks ago, and what a fiasco we were about to encounter!! We went to a half a dozen car lots, and were so high pressured to buy something I wasn't even interested in buying, UNTIL...we stopped at Chrysler, Jeep Dodge.
A young lady named Amelia Reisman came out and asked what I was interested in buying. I told her I really liked Honda's, but would like to look at & try a Hybrid. I also told her I liked blue or silver, wanted leather, and she said, "I have a couple of cars you might be interested in buying." With that, she brought out a Toyota Prius, and a Honda Civic, both with everything I wanted. After driving both of them, she also showed us other cars that I was interested in buying. NEVER did she High Pressure me to buy anything!! I ended up, buying the Toyota Prius. A young man named Dallas asked me if I knew how to get the best mileage out of it, as well as how things worked, (it also has navigation), so we went for a ride so he could show me.
If any of you are looking to buy a car, I'd suggest going to Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge in Bremerton first, and save yourself the anguish of dealing with the vultures we found at some of the other dealerships in Bremerton.

I recently bought the Dodge Ram 1500, and I am very happy with the truck. In addition to being a great truck it has all the nice features that I would expect in a luxury car. Built in DVD player, remote starting (great on cold days), integrated blue tooth technology to talk hands free through the speakers. Sunroof and a button to open the sliding back window from the driver seat. Other features include movable foot peddles, (good for shorter people). And how about this one, reprogramming the settings of the truck from the steering wheel. For example, I do not like the horn to honk when I lock the doors remotely. I can change that setting while following a simple menu system the will let me change that and all kinds of other settings.
There is a 30 gig hard drive for music, pictures, movies, and what ever else you want to put there. You can download music and files onto the hard drive through a USB port (really cool). For you iPod fans there is an adapter so you can play your music as well.
The sales people are friendly, helpful, not pushy, and courteous. I know Deb, Dallas, and Brian from finance quite well and consider them to be my friends.
The service department recently merged with another dodge dealership, and for about a week there were trying to adjust to all the new customers, but they have seemed to have gotten everything together, and it seems to be flowing really smooth now. I think the service that I have received from my older vehicles has been very good, and I am COMPLETELY confident to bring all my maintenance to them.
